Testing - Remediate Testing/Failures

Remediate Testing or Design Failures. Remediation is required for either design failures (control was poorly designed and does not properly mitigate the risk) or testing failures (control was not being properly applied). For those controls that require remediation as a result of a testing failure, you will be prompted to create a system generated remediation entry. You may also log remediation entries manually. This keeps a concise listing of the items requiring remediation and their status. For each item, you will be provided a new testing section for you to re-test after the required corrections have been made.
